Susan Kendzulak

Susan Kendzulak is an artist and writer based in Taiwan since 1996. Before that, she was a struggling painter in New York City for many years and transformed by living in Asia, switched to conceptual work in 2000 with her ongoing project “everything is dangerous.” Kendzulak graduated from School of Visual Arts (BFA 1984) and has a MA degree from California State University with her thesis on Chinese conceptual art. She is the Taiwan correspondent for Flash Art and Art Asia Pacific magazines and is currently the Southeast Asia editor for Art Asia Pacific’s Almanac 2008-9. She has written for Yishu, Public Art Review, Art Review UK, and is contributing reporter to the Taipei Times newspaper.
